Social Skills

I was hesitant to tackle the festival circuit because I didn't think I had the right personality for it. I'm not the car salesman type who can start schmoozing with people as soon as they walk in the booth. But I'm learning you don't need that. People will start a conversation with you if they like your work and I'm really enjoying talking with these people. They seem to be an interesting set of people- by and large educated and cultured. Even in the humblest venue I've been in there were some pretty cool people who dropped by. So I'm enjoying the social aspects of this more than I expected to.
